Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire involving a vehicle in the Ballybeg area of Waterford City.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:50pm on Friday, October 16th.

Gardaí confirmed to WLR that they received a report of the incident, during which a vehicle was reportedly damaged by fire.

No injuries have been reported.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
