
The funeral details have been announced for Yveta Donovalova who died in Waterford earlier this week.
The mother of three was discovered with serious injuries at her home in Grange Heights, Waterford on Monday evening. She was pronounced dead a short time later at University Hospital Waterford.
The death notice for Ms Donovalova, formerly of the Czech Republic, reads that she will be “sadly missed by her loving husband Robert, children, Nel, Toby and Dominik, mother Sonya, father Radek, brothers David and Radek, sisters Eve and Anet, nephews Peter and Michael, nieces Lily, Sofie and Natalie, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.”
Reposal will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Saturday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 2:00pm.
A private cremation will take place at a later date.
Court appearance
On Wednesday evening, a 39 year old man appeared in court charged with the murder of Ms Donovalova.
Tomas Marvanek of Grange Heights appeared before Judge Kevin Staunton at a special sitting of Waterford District Court.
He was remanded in custody to appear again before Waterford District Court on Tuesday next May 5th via video link.
