Emergency Fire Services are currently responding to a fire near the Metal Man in Tramore, Co. Waterford.

Three units of the fire service and Gardaí are at the scene, where large clouds of smoke can be seen rising into the air.

The nature and cause of the fire have not yet been confirmed.

Motorists and members of the public are being urged to avoid the area where possible and keep roads clear to allow emergency services to carry out their work safely.

There are no reports of any injuries at this stage.
