Roadworks on Knockboy Road in Waterford are set to continue until the end of September.

Waterford City and County Council says works are ongoing on the L5529 between The Riverside Cottage and St Mary’s Church in Ballygunner.

The project involves drainage upgrades to facilitate housing developments in the Ballygunner area.

Motorists are being advised to expect delays while the works continue, particularly around school drop-off and collection times.

The Council says efforts will be made to minimise disruption and has thanked local residents and road users for their patience while the works are carried out.
