Clare Kambamettu and Ryan Tubridy made for a sweet sight during an appearance at the Rose of Tralee festival finale on Tuesday.
Both have a strong connection to the festival: clinical psychologist Clare famously competed in and won the competition in 2010 and returned in 2025 to act as a judge. Ryan meanwhile stepped in to act as host for several years until Daithí Ó Sé took up the post on a more permanent basis.
Little wonder then that Ryan and Clare, who married in December 2025, looked to be in high spirits on Tuesday.

One picture from the night shows them gazing adoringly into each other’s eyes while standing in a doorway.
Clare, who is a lover of vintage clothing, was elegant for the occasion in a classic little black dress with a fit-and-flare design, which she accessorised with a wide metallic belt.
She wrapped a long white shawl around her shoulders to keep away the chills.

Ryan, meanwhile, was suited and booted in a black tuxedo on the night.
Other photos from the festival show the couple posing with pals and seemingly much to the delight of Clare alongside the Dancing With The Stars Glitterball trophy.

2025 Rose of Tralee winner Katelyn Cummins won the dance series back in March and carried the trophy with her as she prepared to hand over her crown and posed with the judges.
Tuesday’s finale saw Westmeath Rose Caoilfhinn Ní Choiligh named the 2026 Rose, and Katelyn had wise words to share as she passed the torch to her.
