It’s 10 years since Dungarvan’s Solas Cancer Support Centre opened.

As Waterford people are well aware, the Solas Centre has been an invaluable resource – both in the city and Dungarvan – for many, many individuals and families that have been, and continue to be, impacted by cancer.

The Dungarvan centre, in particular, has been of huge benefit to those living in the West Waterford area.

To mark it’s 10 year anniversary in the town, Damien and the ‘Deise Today’ team recently visited the Main Street premises for a special programme dedicated to the centre, speaking to both those involved and those it has helped.
