Julian Walton’s Autumn Lecture Series ‘The Wrecks of Tramore Bay’ will be held on Monday November 9th in Block B, Dunhill Ecopark, Ballyphillip, Dunhill, Co. Waterford. (X91 FVF9.) followed by a questions and answers session.

In the past Tramore Bay was known as the “The Graveyard of Ships”. There are over 150 ship wrecks recorded in the Bay. Some ships came into the Bay by mistake, thinking that they were entering Waterford Harbour. Others were pushed in by storm force winds.
