Waterford will face Derry City in the FAI Cup final at the Aviva Stadium on November 8.

Derry booked their place with a 2–0 semi-final win over Galway United, captain Michael Duffy scoring both goals in a dominant performance. He opened the scoring in the 26th minute and added his second after the break.

Waterford secured their place by defeating Bohemians, completing a remarkable cup run under manager Graham Coughlan. The Blues will now turn their attention back to the league, where they are focused on securing Premier Division survival, before facing Derry for the cup.
