Tyson Fury has claimed that Anthony Joshua has ‘s**t his pants’ and called off their proposed blockbuster fight.

Fury and Joshua were reportedly negotiating the wealth-laden event before the former grew impatient about it not being fully confirmed.

Earlier in the week, the ‘Gypsy King’ called his rival a ‘coward’ and has now returned with another statement suggesting the fight won’t happen.

However, Fury is seemingly determined to make a fight happen either way, turning his attention to Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury told social media: ‘AJ has s**t his pants again, yet again. After 11 years he has finally s**t his pants yet again.

‘This will only lead me to a fight with Oleksandr Usyk. Oleksandr you’re his (Joshua’s) trainer and his sensei and you know he is a weak-minded piece of s**t and that he would never fight the Gypsy King, which you have had the guts to do twice.

‘You got the decisions last time, fair play to you. Good luck to you, let’s do it again. Let’s run it back in November. The ball is now in your court… do you want to fight me this year, 2026, or are you calling quits? Let me know because I am now looking for a new opponent.’

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, previously said that an agreement for a fight with Fury would be determined by his client’s net purse.

It was widely expected that New York’s Madison Square Garden would host the event, despite Joshua’s camp preferring Wembley Stadium.

Sela, the Saudi state-owned promotional company financing the fight, reportedly wanted to have the bout Stateside for a bigger American audience on Netflix.

However, Hearn said talks about staging it in the UK had ‘re-opened’ after London Mayor Sadiq Khan made a public plea for the fight to happen at Wembley.

It now appears that all talks may have stalled due to Fury’s post, leaving him open for another bout with Usyk.

Fury and Usyk have fought on two occasions before, both in 2024, with the latter twice winning on points decisions.
