Four county football finals are down for decision across Waterford this afternoon, with plenty of silverware up for grabs.

Walsh Park hosts a double-header, beginning with Ferrybank against Dungarvan in the Junior A Football Final at 12.45 pm.

That will be followed by Mount Sion taking on Tallow in the Junior B Football Final at 2.30 pm.

Elsewhere, St Saviour’s face The Nire in the Junior B Plate Final in Portlaw, with throw-in scheduled for 3.30 pm.

The day’s action concludes at Fraher Field in Dungarvan, where Brickey Rangers meet Clashmore-Kinsalebeg in the Premier Intermediate Football Championship Final at 6.30 pm.

Meanwhile, Shamrocks claimed a narrow victory over Abbeyside-Ballinacourty in Friday night’s Radley Engineering Western Board Intermediate Football Cup Division 1 Final.

Just a single point separated the sides at Fraher Field, with Shamrocks coming out on top by 0-9 to 0-8.

The result saw Shamrocks secure the Western title following a closely contested encounter in Dungarvan.
