Waterford's own Jackie Coughlan and her mother queued for three hours last week to meet Daniel O'Donnell at his huge fundraising tea-party at his home in Donegal.
The Boil the Kettle event returned after a break of 26 years raising money for Relay for Life Donegal.
Daniel O'Donnell Fans Flocked
Fans travelled from all corners of Ireland, as well as some die-hard fans hopping over the Irish Sea to have a cuppa with the man himself and his wife, Majella.
More than 18,000 euro was raised on the day, with fans returning home with mugs, merchandise, and pictures of them with Daniel and Majella.
The entire event was held in the garden of the family home, adorned with its famous flowers and shrubbery.
A Daniel O'Donnell Fan Legacy
Jackie is a fan for more than 40 years of the man himself, and she hopped in the car and made the trip to Donegal with her mum, who also attended the last tea party in 1990.
She joined Ollie and Dymphna on air to talk about the day, the weather, and stripping off when Mother Nature wasn't playing ball.
