Set against the backdrop of Waterford city, Mea Culpa explores themes of identity, family, and belonging.

Written by Gayle Corrigan and Nicola Spendlove, the story delves into love, secrets and the messy process of discovering who we really are. Spendlove, an award-winning actor and playwright, is adopted and brings personal insight to the story.

The theme of adoption is handled with poignancy and a wickedly comic edge. The production is funded by Coimisiún na Meán under the Sound & Vision Scheme.
