This morning (Tuesday) 'Deise Today', Damien delved into the tragic case of Tina Satchwell, following the murder conviction handed down to her husband on Friday. Richard Satchwell, who kept his wife's body in a secret grave beneath their home for six years while lying to her family and the "people of Ireland" about her disappearance, was found guilty of Tina's murder by the unanimous verdict of a Central Criminal Court jury. They took nine hours and 28 minutes over four days to convict Satchwell, a British national who is shortly due to turn 59 years old. Her family spoke afterwards outside the court about the devastating loss of Tina and the impact the events that followed have had on their lives.
