A new six-part series exploring farming at Curraghmore Estate is set to air on RTE.

'Our Farm: A GIY Story' follows Waterford-based GIY amid their efforts to journey from farm to fork.

Across six episodes, viewers follow the GIY team as they battle pests, weather, funding crises, staffing pressures and customer churn.

All of this, while trying to build a viable veg box scheme, restore historic land, care for animals, and grow food for their community.

The series follows the transformation by GIY of an ancient, derelict walled garden at Curraghmore Estate, Co. Waterford, into a full-scale, working regenerative farm.

It’s a hopeful, honest and sometimes uncomfortable story about whether local, organic food systems can truly work in modern Ireland – and what it takes to make them survive.

GIY Founder, Michael Kelly joined Ollie and Dymphna on air for an in-depth chat about the programme, the business, and why education around food is key for the future generations.
