Who died On Sunday, July 12th , 2026, peacefully, in the presence of his family and in the tender care of the nursing staff at the Mercy Hospital Cork.

 Deeply regretted by his wife Mary (nee Cunningham), daughters Sinéad Purtill and Elaine Williams, sons Thomas and Diarmuid, sister Sr. Teresa Agnes (Bridie) of The Sisters of Charity, sons-in-law Bobby Purtill and Keith Williams, daughters-in-law Kasia and Susanna, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and the many people who knew him.

Lying in repose at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home, Cappoquin on Tuesday evening July 14th from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

Followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church Cappoquin.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday afternoon July 15th at 2.00pm.

Followed by burial in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Cappoquin.
