Formerly of Waterford Stanley and ACEC, Chairperson of Waterford Chomraile Dail Cheantir Fianna Fail, Councillor Waterford City Council and Peace Commissioner Chairperson of the Waterford International Festival of Light Opera, Boards of Management Mercy Primary Schools, Waterford and lifelong member of Mount Sion GAA Club.

Sean passed away peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents James and May.

Much loved and sadly missed by his beloved wife Margaret, his children Jaimie, Adrian and Corinna, his grandchildren Gabriel, Jack, Olivia, Eli, Eoin and Saibh and his brother Michael. He will be fondly remembered by his son-in-law Niall and daughters-in-law Nicola and Sinead, brothers-in-law, sisters -in-law, extended family and all his many friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Thursday (9th July) from 7:00pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8:00pm.

Sean’s funeral cortege will walk from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Friday (10th July) to the Holy Family Church, Luke Wadding Street for Requiem Mass on arrival at 11:00am, followed by burial in Ballybricken Cemetery.

House Private at all times.

Mass will be livestreamed at 11:00am on Friday by following the Funeral Service link.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Solas Centre.
