Who died on 1st August 2026, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful and exceptional care of the nursing staff at Carechoice Dungarvan, loving son of the late Margaret and Paddy Hennessy.

Deeply regretted by his wife Helen (nee Foley), sons Alan and Niall, daughter Sharon, sisters Mary B. Pattison, Cora Shelly and Catherine Scanlan, brothers Jim, P.J., Jack and Anthony, daughters-in-law Solene and Aoife, son-in-law Chris Corkery, grandchildren Thomas, Valentin, Antoíne, Síomha, Líse, Chulainn and Coillte, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at Aidan Walsh & Sons Funeral Home, Cappoquin

On Monday evening, August 3rd from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Cappoquin.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, August 4th at 11.00 am.

Followed by burial in St. Declan’s Cemetery, Cappoquin.
