Who died on the 24th of August, 2026.

Formerly of Griffith Place and Morrisons Road.

Late of Waterford Crystal, Waterford Stanley and Clarnico – Murray Dublin.

Recently predeceased by her much loved husband Alfie, her parents Jimmy and Kitty Molloy (Duggan) her aunts and uncles, Paddy, Lawrence, Statia, Bridget, Mary, Fr. Joe and Jimmy Duggan.

Sadly missed by her adoring daughters Catherine and Ann-Marie, son-in-law Páudie Walsh, sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Alison, Denise, Stephanie and Louise, cousins Elizabeth Coughlan, Alice Power, Peggy, Liz, Cam and Jim in the United States and families. Her lifelong friends The Finn family (Dublin), Maria Coats (London), extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Thursday (27th August) from 3:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 5:30pm. Alfie’s and Mary’s funeral corteges will walk from Thompson’s Funeral Home at 6:00pm to Ballybricken Church for reception on arrival.

Requiem Mass in the Ballybricken Church on Friday (28th August) at 2:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

The Family are forever grateful to Dr. Siobhan Murphy, Dr. George Pope, Dr. Liam MacCann, surgery nurses, receptionists, carers, Brian Tynan and all the staff in Phelan’s Pharmacy for all that they did for Mary and the family down through the years.
