Former Psychiatric Nurse in St. Otteran’s Hospital, Waterford City.

Mary passed peacefully with her loving family by her side Wednesday the 2nd of September 2026

RIP.

Predeceased by her beloved parents Joseph and Molly and her sister Bernadette.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Anthony; her daughter Deirdre, her sisters Teresa and Anne; her sister-in-law Clare and her brother-in-law Declan. Mary will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews, her extended family, relatives, neighbours, many friends and all her former work colleagues.

The Flanagan family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in the emergency services for the heroic effort in Mary’s final moments

Mary’s reposal will take place on Friday the 4th of September at Falconers Funeral Home, Tramore X91TW21 from 7pm to 9pm.

Mary’s Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday the 5th of September at 1:30pm in The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, after which Mary will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend Mary’s Mass online can do so by using the link below.
