Margaret (Maggie) Burke née Thompson

Late of Watts Sack and Bag factory, Waterford.

Affectionately known as “Mugsie” by her late husband Paddy (Pat) Burke and is now reunited again with him, earth angel and most cherished wife, mother and grandmother affectionately known as “Nanny Maggie” to us all.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy (Pat) Burke, her parents Michael and Margaret, her brother Johnny, sister Nellie and son- in-law Eddie Skelton.

Eternally missed and will never be forgotten by her loved ones taking a piece of our hearts with her to her heavenly place in the arms of the angels, she will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Donna (Kearns) and Alison (Skelton) son-in- law Michael Kearns, six grandchildren Tamara, Brandon, Michaeyla, Nathan, Nathasha and Jayden (Kearns) and her brother Martin Thompsons, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

We bet you got the best bed up there in Heaven. Missed by us all always and forever.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Monday (5th October) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm.

Maggie’s funeral cortege will walk from Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, on Tuesday (6th October) to Ballybricken Church, Mayors Walk for Requiem Mass on arrival at 12:30pm, followed by burial in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road, Waterford.
