Who died on Friday 16th December
Peacefully in the tender care of staff at University Hospital Waterford. Michael is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving family, Karen, John, Susan, Julie and Tracey, sons-in-law Moss Power and Michael Power, grandchildren Niamh, Conor, Aoife, Michael, Molly, Thomas, John and Joan Power and Jack Forrest, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Michael is predeceased by his wife Joan (née Murphy) parents Paddy and Molly, granddaughter Katie Forrest, brothers Paddy Joe and Dick, sisters Betty Hehir and Rita Brennan.
Michael will be reposing at his home Druid’s Lodge, Killossera (X35 V821) on Sunday afternoon 18th December from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayers at 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday morning, 19th December, in St. Mary’s Parish Church, Dungarvan. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Karen, very sorry to hear of the death of your Dad Micheal. Ar deis Dé go raibh sé. Please pass on my condolences to all the family. He was a gentle man. We always had ‘ cupla focal as Gaeilge’ when he came in for his blood test. I was very fond of him.

It saddened me to learn of Michael's death. many a happy hour we spent recording his memories. The film that we made at St. Joseph's Hospital will stand as a memory to him. His gift with words was wonderful and when I say he will be sadly missed, I sincerely mean it. Rest in peace Michael Brennen and thank you for the wonderful hours we spent together. My sincere condolences to Michael's son and daughters and the extended family.
