John passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of the Oak Ward, University Hospital, Waterford surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his son Enda, parents Alice and Edward and his brother Ned.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine, daughters Elaine, Sinéad, Aisling, Clodagh and Sorcha, sons-in-law Leo, David, Alan and John, grandchildren Darragh, Órla, Clodagh, Fionn, Mia, Rían, Enda, Liam Óg, Hector, Oisín, Aoife, Tiarnan and Fintan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Waterford Residential Care Centre (St. Patrick’s) X91 XE86 on Friday (25th September) from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 7:30pm.

Requiem Mass on arrival in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner on Saturday (26th September) at 1:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mass will be livestreamed at 1:00pm on Saturday by following the Funeral Service link below.

The family would like to thank all the staff of the Ferndale Ward at Waterford Residential Care Centre (St. Patrick’s) for excellent care and kindness shown to John over the last two years.
