John passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff of the Aidan’s Ward – Waterford Residential Care Centre (St Patrick’s) surrounded by his loving family and carers.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty, parents Maura and William, brothers Paddy and Gerry, sisters Betty and Kathleen and his beloved companion Sparky.

Sadly missed by his loving daughters Suzanne and Louise, brothers Martin and Billy, sister May, brothers-in-law Tommy, Joxer, Joe and Martin, sisters-in-law Kitty, Rose and Geraldine, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Wednesday (23rd September) from 3:00pm to 5:00 pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm.

John’s funeral cortege will walk from the Bank on Fr. Gregory Way for Requiem Mass on arrival in St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan on Thursday (24th September) at 10:00am.

A Private Cremation will take place at a later date.
