Helen (Nellie) Moloney (nee Phelan), Coolagh Road, Abbeyside, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford

Nellie passed away peacefully in her 102nd year on the 3rd of September 2026 in the tender care of the staff at St. Vincent’s Unit, Dungarvan Community Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and her brothers Jim and Ned.

Nellie is deeply mourned by her family; John, Brigita, Pat, Raymond and Elaine, son-in-law Lar, daughters-in-law Ann, Fiona and Marie, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-granchildren, other relatives including nieces and nephews and many friends.

Nellie will be reposing at Dungarvan Community Hospital Chapel on Friday evening, 4th September, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Prayers at 6.30 p.m. followed by removal to St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside arriving at 8 p.m.

Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, 5th September.

Interment afterwards in St. Laurence’s Cemetery, Ballinroad.
