Des passed away peacefully in the wonderful and exceptional care of Oak Ward at University Hospital Waterford.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine, his brother Thomas and sister Mary (Simpson)
Des was a pure character, will be deeply missed by his sister Bernie, niece Maria (O’Reilly) and her husband Tom, brother-in-law Phil, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews,
neighbours and friends. May He Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Monday (9th March) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 4:30pm.
Requiem Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan on Tuesday (10th March) at 10:00am followed by burial in the St. Otteran’s Cemetery,
Ballinaneeshagh, Cork Road, Waterford.
House private at all times please.

Des was so unique such a genuine nice man, would never say a bad word about anyone ever, I had the pleasure of working along side him for 5 years in ardkeen stores early 2000,s a very funny quick wit character who was always happy to chat to anyone, bed of heaven to you dessie.
