Denis died peacefully in the University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family after a short illness.
Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget, sisters Nell, Mary and Kitty and his brother Paddy.
He will be greatly missed by his heartbroken and loving wife Stella, sons Seamus and Eugene, his daughter-in-law Breda, his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Thursday from 7 pm to 8:30 pm with vigil prayers and rosary at 8 pm.
Strictly House Private outside of reposing times.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Dunhill followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
