Who died on the 21st of August, 2026.
Formerly of Mount Sion Avenue & Late of Waterford Crystal.
Much loved husband of Mary (Molloy) and adored Father of Catherine and Ann-Marie.
Sadly missed by his sisters Elizabeth, Alison, Denise, Stephanie and Louise, nieces, nephews, godchildren, uncle, aunts,cousins, son-in-law Pàudie Walsh, extended family, neighbours & his many friends especially all his lifelong friends in Scouting Ireland (19th/29th Waterford St. Mary’s Ballygunner Scout Group and De Le Salle Scout Group Waterford).

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Barrack St, Waterford on Thursday (27th August) from 3:00pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 5:30pm. Alfie’s and Mary’s funeral corteges will walk from Thompson’s Funeral Home at 6:00pm to Ballybricken Church for reception on arrival.
Requiem Mass in the Ballybricken Church on Friday (28th August) at 2:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
The Family are forever grateful to Dr. Enda Sheehan, Dr. Liam MacCann, Dr.Brian Sweeney, surgery nurses, receptionists, carers, Brian Tynan and all the staff in Phelan’s Pharmacy for all that they did for Alfie and the family down through the years.
