Aidan passed peacefully with his loving family by his side. Wednesday the 2nd of September 2026

RIP.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Carmel.

Aidan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons David and Daniel; and his sisters Mary, Sheila and Catherine. Aidan will be fondly remembered by all his in-laws, all his nieces and nephews, his extended family, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

The Connolly family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in University Hospital Waterford for the care and attention Aidan received throughout his illness.

May Aidan rest peacefully.

Aidan’s reposal will take place on Sunday the 6th of September at Falconers Funeral Home, Tramore X91TW21 from 2pm to 4pm.

All are welcome.

Aidan’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday the 7th of September at 10am in The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, after which Aidan will be laid to rest in St. Declan’s Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend Aidan’s Mass online can do so by using the link below.

Aidan’s funeral cortege will walk from the Junction of Priest Road and Summerhill at approximately 9:40am to arrive for his Requiem Mass.
