Cinema-goers in Waterford will be able to catch a film for €4 as part of National Cinema Weekend.
ODEON Waterford is taking part in the initiative on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, with tickets reduced to €4 across the weekend.
The offer will apply to standard screenings as well as selected premium IMAX and iSense screenings.
A range of new releases, family films and cinema classics will be showing across the two days.
Family options include Toy Story 5, Minions & Monsters, Moana, Paw Patrol: Dino Movie and Coyote v Acme.
Other films being shown include The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dog Stars and Insidious: Out of the Further.
Cinema classics will also return to the big screen, including Terminator 2 to mark its 35th anniversary and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, 40 years after its original release.
Popcorn Offer
Alongside the reduced ticket prices, individual sizes of popcorn will be available for €5 for customers with a National Cinema Weekend ticket.
Paul Wren, Head of Sales at ODEON Cinemas UK and Ireland, said the weekend is an opportunity to bring people together at the cinema.
‘Whether it’s catching the latest blockbuster, bringing the family along to see a favourite or discovering something new, there really is something for everyone,’ he said.
ODEON Waterford will also offer Autism Friendly Screenings at the €4 ticket price on Saturday, September 12th, outside the busier National Cinema Weekend.
