Waterford City and County Council has launched a public consultation on the future development of the city’s Northwest and Southwest neighbourhoods.
Two public drop-in events will take place on Thursday, November 5th, giving residents, businesses and community groups an opportunity to share their views.
The Council is preparing Integrated Neighbourhood Strategies for both areas, focusing on housing, transport, community facilities, green spaces, local services and quality of life.
The Northwest area includes Carrickphierish, Gracedieu, Bilberry and Knockhouse, while the Southwest covers Ballybeg, Kilbarry and surrounding areas.
The consultation events will run from 5pm to 7.30pm at Carrickphierish Library for the Northwest neighbourhood and BRILL Family Resource Centre in Ballybeg for the Southwest.
People can also have their say through online surveys or written submissions via the Council’s consultation portal.
The closing date for submissions is December 11th at 4pm.
