Two teenagers have been injured following a serious single-vehicle road traffic collision in Reisk, Dunhill, Tramore, Co. Waterford.

The collision, involving a car, occurred at approximately 11.55pm on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.

A male passenger, aged in his late teens, was transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A second passenger, a female also aged in her late teens, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.

No other injuries were reported.

The road remains closed to facilitate a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions currently in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Road users who were travelling in the Reisk, Dunhill and Tramore areas between 11.20pm on Tuesday, September 8th, and 12.20am on Wednesday, September 9th, and who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
