A decision is due next Monday on plans by Oaklee Housing to construct a new age-friendly residential development in Tramore.
The proposed development consists of 25 independent living dwellings, including 17 one-bedroom single-storey homes and eight two-bedroom single-storey homes.
The planning application also includes a new vehicular entrance and pedestrian access, 17 car parking spaces, secure cycle parking, site boundary treatments and site development infrastructure, including connections to new and existing services.
A central landscaped courtyard, community garden, ancillary landscaping and all associated site development works also form part of the proposal.
A planning decision from Waterford City and County Council on the proposed development is due next Monday.
The proposal follows the construction of 20 new bungalows for older people, which were unveiled last week in Tramore
