A joint funeral will take place this week for the couple who were found dead at their home in Bray last week.
Bridget “Biddy” O’Brien, aged in her 40s, and her partner James McGinn, in his 30s, were found dead shortly after 8am on Wednesday at a house in Cois Carn, off Old Connaught Avenue in north Bray.
A Garda investigation has since begun, with post-mortem examinations carried out by State Pathologist Dr Sally Anne Collis.
The couple will repose at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaght Avenue, Bray on Monday, October 26, from 4pm to 6pm.

Removal from the funeral home will take place at 11.30am on Tuesday, October 27, to St Anne’s Church, Shankill.
The Requiem Mass for the couple will commence at 12 noon. Ms O’Brien and Mr McGinn will then be laid to rest with their beloved children, Jordan and Holly in Springfield Cemetery.

The couple lost their children in 2017 following a fatal house fire in Clondalkin. Ms O’Brien survived the fire, which also killed her pregnant cousin Annmarie O’Brien and her two-year-old daughter Paris.
Ms O’Brien and her two children had been visiting her cousin when the fire broke out in the apartment.
She suffered severe burn injuries in the blaze. Both herself and her partner struggled with profound trauma and addiction issues following the deaths of their children.
An investigation into their deaths has been launched by An Garda Síochána, who are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with any information can reach out to Dún Laoghaire Garda Station on 01 666 5000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
