Ten Waterford food and craft businesses have been selected for a trading initiative at this year’s Waterford Harvest Festival.

The businesses will receive dedicated trading space on George’s Street during the festival, which runs from September 4th to 6th.

Local Enterprise Office Waterford will also provide participants with sales and customer engagement training, digital promotion and support in preparing for the three-day event.

Jacqui Gaule, Acting Head of Enterprise at LEO Waterford, said the festival is an opportunity to showcase local producers.

‘Waterford is renowned for its hard-working, talented and passionate producers,’ she said.

‘Waterford Harvest Festival is a fantastic platform for these creative and dedicated food and craft producers to showcase the very best of what they do.’

LEO Waterford will also host an outdoor broadcast with WLR from Waterford city centre at lunchtime on Friday, September 4, featuring some of its clients and the supports available to local businesses.
