A lucky Lotto player somewhere in Ireland is starting the week more than €8.2million richer after scooping Saturday night’s jackpot.

The winning ticket, worth €8,221,849, makes its holder the fourth Lotto jackpot winner of 2026. The National Lottery has said it will reveal where the ticket was sold in the coming days.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s draw were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46 and the bonus was 37.

It was a night to remember for others too. Three players each matched five numbers and the bonus to win €89,430.

The first of those Match 5 plus Bonus winners bought their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Londis on Bank Place in Miltown Malbay, Co Clare. The second was sold at Lynch’s Centra in Clonbur, Claremorris, Co Mayo, also on the day of the draw. The third winner, in Co Dublin, bought their ticket online.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer urged players to check their tickets.

‘Someone in Ireland is now holding a ticket worth an incredible €8,221,849,’ he said. ‘With a jackpot winning ticket now out there somewhere in Ireland, we’re encouraging players who bought a ticket for Saturday night’s draw to check it carefully.’

He added: ‘We’ve also seen three players in Clare, Mayo and Dublin scoop fantastic Match 5 plus Bonus prizes of €89,430 each. We’re encouraging players in Mayo and Clare to carefully check their tickets and players in Dublin to check their online accounts.’

The jackpot winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe, then contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or at claims@lottery.ie to arrange collection. The online player in Dublin will have received an email notification to check their account.
