Motorists are being advised to expect delays in Waterford City this week as refurbishment works are carried out on Rice Bridge.

Waterford City and County Council says the works will take place on Wednesday, October 14th.

Alternate lane closures will be in operation from 9.30am until 3pm, with traffic management measures in place throughout the works.

Drivers using the bridge are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused while the refurbishment works are being carried out.
