Gardaí are warning motorists to exercise caution following a significant oil spill on the N25 in Waterford.

The spill has occurred at the Carrick Road Roundabout, with drivers travelling through the area being urged to slow down and take additional care.

Gardaí say motorists should be aware of potentially hazardous road conditions as a result of the oil on the roadway.

Those approaching the roundabout are being advised to reduce their speed and proceed with caution while travelling through the affected area.
