A fundraiser has been launched for a young mother who died after falling from a balcony in Dublin, just weeks after her sister passed.
Kathleen Carey, aged in her 30s, was found seriously injured outside of an apartment block in Belmayne, Dublin 13. She sadly passed away from her injuries in Beaumont Hospital on Wednesday.
A GoFundMe has since been started to help pay for Kathleen’s funeral expenses, with her loved ones remembering her as a ‘kind, loving, [and] funny person.’

‘We are asking for your help to support our family following the heartbreaking and unexpected loss for [sic] my aunty Kathleen Carey, who sadly passed away from a tragic accident in Belmayne,’ the fundraiser reads. ‘We had to bury her loving sister two weeks beforehand.’
The fundraiser described Kathleen as a ‘kind, loving, funny person who was full of life. She always made you smile… she was an amazing person who will be deeply missed.’
The fundraiser is also said to help give Kathleen ‘the best send-off,’ and to help support her daughter.
Gardaí are continuing their investigation into Kathleen’s death, and are currently establishing whether she was assaulted.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Main Street, Belmayne, Dublin 13 between 3pm and 3.45pm on Monday, September 28, is urged to contact Gardaí.
