Imagine Arts Festival is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Waterford this year.
The programme for the milestone edition of the festival will be officially unveiled on Culture Night, Friday, September 18th.
This year’s festival will feature a full week of performance, music, visual art and heritage events across Waterford City.

The 2026 edition will be centred around the theme ‘In Memories We Grow’, marking a quarter of a century since the festival began.
Festival organisers say Culture Night was chosen for the programme launch because of its focus on celebrating culture and communities across the country.
The launch will give attendees a first look at what’s planned for this year’s festival, with the full programme set to be revealed on the night.
Festival Director Sinéad Dunphy said the 25-year milestone is something organisers want to celebrate properly, with this year’s programme reflecting the history of Imagine while looking towards its future.
The Imagine Arts Festival 2026 programme launch will take place at Bank Lane in Waterford City at 6pm on Friday, September 18th.
Further details on this year’s programme will be announced at the launch.
