Gardaí are appealing to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing teenager in Waterford.

Fifteen-year-old Abbie Reid has been missing from the Tramore Road area since Tuesday afternoon.

Abbie is described as being around 5 foot 5 inches tall, with long brown hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she was wearing blue shorts, a blue top, white runners and a white jacket.

Gardaí say they are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone who has seen Abbie or who has information about her whereabouts to contact Waterford Garda Station on 051 305 300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
