Further delays are expected on the N25 Waterford to Cork route this week due to additional road works.

Motorists using the route this week have already experienced significant delays due to works at Kildermody.

These works are continuing until December 4th.

There were also lengthy delays earlier in the week due to road works taking place on the N25 west of Carroll’s Cross at Newtown, Kilmacthomas.

Additional updates from Waterford Council this weekend have give notice on further road works due to take place along the N25.

There will be Stop Go Traffic Management in operation in Lemybrien village on Monday November 9th to facilitate road testing.

Meanwhile, roadworks are planned to take place west of Dungarvan from this Monday until February 12th 2027.

A Stop Go Traffic Management system will be in place from Windgap to Moonamean and motorists are advised to drive with care.

Waterford City & County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
