Ferrybank Post Office is celebrating after winning the overall Community Focus award at the inaugural Postmaster Excellence Awards.

Staff took to social media to share the good news, thanking colleagues Karen and Sophie, along with Jennifer Roche of United In Blue Waterford ASD Group, for their work in establishing the post office’s dedicated ASD hours.

The initiative provides a quieter, more supportive environment for families on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

The announcement has been warmly received across local community groups, including Ferrybank Community Newsletter and Ferrybank Focus, with hundreds of people congratulating the team on their achievement.
