Plans have been submitted for a development of 99 homes at Killea in Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.

S & K Carey Ltd is the applicant behind the proposed development, which would consist of 99 dwellings of various types and sizes.

The plans submitted to Waterford City and County Council include new vehicular and pedestrian access points at Killea Road and Archers Way, as well as two new access points at Dunmore Holiday Villas.

Alterations to the public footpath from the public roads at Killea Road, Archers Way and Dunmore Holiday Villas are also included.

A total of 192 private car parking spaces and 31 communal car parking spaces are proposed.

The development would also include 1.16 hectares of public open space.

Foul and surface drainage works form part of the plans, including a proposed wetlands attenuation pond.

Street lighting, landscaping, boundary treatments and all ancillary site development works necessary to facilitate the development are also proposed.

A decision is due on the development on November 22nd.
