Nearly 1,000 homes and businesses are without power across County Waterford.

ESB Networks is working to restore supply to 974 customers affected by an outage in the Kilmacthomas area.

A further 17 customers are without power near the Ballynatray Estate in West Waterford.

Meanwhile, a planned outage is also affecting a number of customers in Tramore. A status Yellow wind and Rain alert is in place for Waterford until 9pm tonight.

ESB Networks are aiming to restore power in the coming hours. We will update this article with further outages and updates as we get them.
