Plans have been lodged for the construction of 96 new homes and a crèche in Waterford City.
S&K Carey is seeking planning permission for the residential development at Killure Road in Kilcohan.
The proposed development would consist of 56 houses alongside 40 apartments.
Plans include 47 three-bedroom semi-detached homes, five four-bedroom semi-detached properties, two three-bedroom and two two-bedroom terraced homes.
Two four-storey apartment blocks are also proposed, each containing 20 units.
Each block would contain four one-bedroom, 13 two-bedroom and three three-bedroom apartments.
A single-storey crèche is included in the application, along with car parking, bicycle and bin storage, landscaping and other associated site works.
The application also provides for connections and access links to an adjoining residential development at Killure Road.
That development, comprising 91 homes, was previously granted planning permission under planning reference 2560154.
The earlier development also includes two four-storey apartment blocks containing 40 apartments, alongside a mixture of two, three and four-bedroom houses.
Waterford City and County Council is due to make a decision on the latest application by October 25th.
