Vogue Williams has admitted she is ‘disappointed’ with herself following a radio food challenge.

The presenter is filling in for Holly Willoughby on Heart Radio this week, and has been providing plenty of laughs with co-host Jamie Theakston.

On Tuesday, Vogue’s Irishness was put to the test with the Dubliner tasked with differentiating between Irish and British foods.

The first round saw Vogue taste testing Walkers crisps and Taytos — and shockingly getting the answer wrong.

‘That’s a Tayto any day,’ the presenter had boldly stated, ‘Irish people take this very seriously, Jamie.

‘I won’t be allowed back in there.’

The next round saw Vogue comparing Barry’s Tea with PG Tips — both of which she said were ‘totally rotten.’

‘I’m gonna say the least bad is the A,’ Vogue said, adding that she was ‘heartbroken’ to learn that that was the PG Tips.

The third and final round saw Vogue tasting a slice of toast with Kerrygold butter, and another with Countrylife Spreadable.

‘Colourwise, I would go with the A… they’re both delicious,’ she said, with Jamie confirming she was correct.

A clip of the taste test was shared on social media, with Vogue quick to comment: ‘I’m disappointed in myself!’

In fairness, many took to the comments in Vogue’s defence, with one sharing: ‘Speaking on behalf of the Irish people, we give her a pass as she’s preggers and her taste buds have changed.’

Another wondered: ‘But are they Irish Tayto or Northern Tayto because they taste different.’

A third praised ‘Really loving @voguewilliams on the show this week!’
