The Mayo team took to the stage at Electric Picnic to celebrate with the Saw Doctors as the band sang their song Green and Red of Mayo.
The crowd cheered as the champions made their way onto the stage in their football gear and stood side by side as they belted out the tune.
And as the team celebrated all over again, there was one player whose journey was just a little longer than the rest.
Mayo captain Jack Coyne, Enda Hession, David McBrien, and Jordan Flynn were just some of the team that made it up in front of the crowd.
Despite the rain and damp weather, nothing was going to spoil this moment for the team or for the crowd watching.
Thousands of people joined in with the Saw Doctors singing the iconic song, and there were plenty of jerseys spotted amongst the crowd.
One face spotted in the crowd was Kobe McDonald, who has had a packed schedule since picking up his first All-Ireland medal.
Not only did the 18-year-old receive his Leaving Cert results, but he has also been in Australia, signing for one of their biggest teams in the AFL, St Kilda.
He is one of three Irish players with St Kilda alongside Liam O’Connell and Eamonn Armstrong.
Chatting to Today FM after their appearance, the players were still on a high from their musical performance.
Kobe said, ‘That is the coolest thing I have ever done. I think there were a couple more than 50,000. That was nuts out there.’
His brother Jordan also joined in, stating, ‘That was absolutely outrageous. That was probably one of the coolest things I have ever experienced.’
