People are losing their minds after Amy Poehler and Billie Eilish paid a subtle tribute to a Cork anthem this week.

The duo came together for a TikTok on funny woman Amy’s page, in promotion for Billie’s appearance on Good Hang with Amy Poehler.

The podcast sees Amy welcoming celebrities into the studio for a conversation on their careers, mutual friends and everything in between.

This week, Billie is the guest, and joined Amy for a boogey to the anthem of 2025 – The Spark.

The song, which comes from Cork rappers Kabin Crew, went viral last year and has went viral once again following the celeb endorsement.

In less than 24 hours of Amy sharing the dancing clip, the video has amassed more than 660,000 likes.

Social media users took to the comments in a mix of obsession and confusion at the crossover.

‘Billie dancing to kids from Cork,’ one wrote, while another added: ‘Ireland mentioned but at what cost.’

A third commented: ‘My queen I love this song.’

A fourth said: ‘What the flying f*ck is going on here (I love it).’

The Spark was released as part of Cruinniú na nÓg2024, the national day of free creativity for children, and went viral worldwide after.

The track from Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew went on to branded ‘The Song of Summer’ by The New York Times, after wracking up millions of views.

The song even got a Grammy’s nod, and was longlisted for two awards — Best Dance/ Electronic Recording and Song of the Year.

While they didn’t come up trumps at the Grammy’s, the group did win the Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year last year, coming up against big names including Fontaines D.C, CMAT and Picture This for the gong.

The non-profit youth music space is based in Knocknaheeny, on the northside of Cork City, and is comprised of a group fo songwriters, rappers, musicians and volunteers of all ages.
