Vogue Williams has revealed the string of unusual names she and Spencer Matthews considered before settling on a name for their fourth child.

The Dublin-born podcaster, 40, and former Made In Chelsea star, 38, welcomed their baby boy earlier this month, joining their children Theodore, seven, Gigi, six, and four-year-old Otto.

After initially leaving hospital without a name for their newborn, the couple eventually settled on Remy Valentine.

But speaking on the latest episode of My Therapist Ghosted Me with Joanne McNally, Vogue admitted that her son had been known by several different names in the days after his birth.

‘It was Rocky for a day, by the way! I loved it,’ she revealed.

She also admitted that Elvis had been considered, explaining that she became convinced the name suited her newborn after seeing him for the first time.

‘We had no name. I was really furious about Elvis in the hospital because I was like, “Well, he’s come out and he looks like Elvis, so this is awkward!” I knew that we couldn’t have Elvis.’

Vogue said the choice eventually came down to Remy and Rocky, with Rocky winning out for the first day.

‘For the whole day I was like, “No, he’s Rocky.” I’d set up his cotton stuff and named it Rocky, everything was Rocky.’

However, her mind had completely changed by the following morning.

‘The next day, I left hospital, I woke up and I said, “That’s not Rocky. Who is that? That’s not Rocky!”‘

The couple then left hospital without a name, with Vogue explaining that she had a week to officially register their son.

‘Then I was like, “Actually, I love Remy!”, but I hated Remy two days before,’ she joked.

Vogue went on to reveal a long list of other names she had considered, including some particularly unusual choices.

At one point, she wanted to call her son Sonny Valentine, but abandoned the idea after discovering there was a Hollyoaks character with the same name.

She also considered Fox, although she said Spencer was not convinced.

‘Then I wanted him to be called Fox and they were like, “Vogue please, it’s in the same vein as Elvis, just don’t do this.”‘

Another option was Ailbe, an Irish name which Vogue said she ultimately ruled out because she had been told it is used as a girl’s name in England.

And then there were the names she found while searching online, including Tiger, River, Buddy, Rocket and Elvie.

‘Jesus, listen to these! Tiger, River, Buddy, Rocket, Elvie, what the f*** was I on?’ she joked.

‘Well, I have plenty of dog names if anyone wants them!’

Vogue also revealed that ‘Lucky Bear’ had briefly been in the running, although Spencer quickly dismissed it.

‘Spenny was like, “That’s a dog’s name. I’m not having it.” Plus it might be unlucky to call someone Lucky,’ she said.

The mum-of-four admitted she had even been using ChatGPT to help with her baby-name search.

Her experience has also left her with some advice for other expectant parents.

‘If you’re having a baby, choose the name before [you give birth], because you’re not yourself after,’ she said.

Vogue and Spencer announced the arrival of their fourth child earlier this month, sharing photos from the hospital as their older children met their new baby brother.

‘Our beautiful baby boy has arrived safely…’ they wrote at the time.

‘The house is bursting with excitement, love and happiness and we couldn’t be more delighted.’

A few days later, Vogue confirmed her son’s full name in a post featuring him alongside his siblings, writing: ‘Remy Valentine Matthews ‘.
