Irish Love Island fans have been left gutted after Charleen Murphy was ‘dumped from the villa’ on Tuesday evening.

The Dublin influencer entered the show last week during Casa Amor, and was one of the bombshells to return to the main villa.

Charleen had been chosen by Kavan Murphy to recouple with, though the pairing was short-lived as Kavan decided he wanted to be ‘100%’ with Jasmine Muller.

On Tuesday, a shock recoupling saw Charleen and fellow Casa Amor bombshell Mara Pirez single, and dumped as a result.

Fans have been taking to social media to have their say, with many hoping it isn’t the end of the road for the women.

Among those picking apart the wording of the women’s exit was Niamh O’Connor, who took to Instagram wondering: ‘Guys maybe I’m clinging onto hope but they didn’t show her leave, and why did they say love island for Charleen & THE island for MARA??

‘Anyone else smell a twist or am I delusional?’

The post was shared to X with one confirming: ‘Tbf if they didn’t say dumped from the villa yess there’s a 50/50 chance they could both be going on a date & the guy will pick one to bring back, it was done last season when Toni got dumped & Harrison brought her back.’

Another called: ‘Get Charleen signed up for All Stars #LoveIsland.’

‘Dumping Charleen and Mara is madness oh my god the girls deserve better,’ a third said.

Others were disappointed by Charleen’s exit, with one noting she ‘really had potential to win the whole show’ and another saying she ‘deserved better.’

Charleen’s exit came not long after Kavan pulled the 27-year-old for a chat where he said it ‘felt’ like he’d messed her around — before clarifying that is exactly what he did.

He went on to say that both his ‘head and heart’ were fully with Jasmine, and he didn’t want to go 50/50 to pursue both girls.
